A special benefit concert to help fund the legal campaign to stop the re-licensing of the Indian Point nuclear power plant. Pete Seeger, lived in Nyack as young boy and has had a long history of activism on a variety of social change, peace, and environmental issues. He has been very outspoken on the issue of nuclear power and the Indian Point Nuclear power plant of Hudson, in particular. He is a true American folk hero and an inspiration to all those who support peace and justice.

Ani DiFranco has been active in issues that relate the public interest since she started her career some 15 years ago in the bars of Buffalo. She speaks from the heart and has formed her own record company, Righteous Babe Records, to give that heart a clear voice.
